Sandy Lewis

Sandy Lewis is the Senior Vice President of Biometrics and Clinical Strategy at Jade Biosciences, bringing over 25 years of experience in biostatistics, clinical trial design, and global regulatory submissions. Most recently, she was Vice President of Biometrics at Chinook Therapeutics, where she built a high performing team and led biometrics strategy and clinical development.

Her career includes senior roles at Gilead Sciences, where she advanced from Senior Biostatistician to Director of Biostatistics as a statistical leader with expertise spanning across multiple therapeutic areas including respiratory, kidney and infectious diseases, and oncology.  She brings extensive knowledge of industry standards, driving innovative statistical designs and methodologies in regulatory submissions to uphold the highest standards of scientific rigor. 

She holds a Master’s degree in Experimental Statistics from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Oregon.
